Description
The aim of the programme is to educate and upskill Irish businesses in the area of customs compliance and trade facilitation by teaching personnel about the simplifications and harmonisation of import and export processes so that they can facilitate the expedition of goods across international boundaries and reduce the many costs associated with it.
The programme is targeted at indigenous industry importing or exporting goods who need to upskill themselves to prepare for the new realities that have resulted from Brexit.
This programme has been recognised by Revenue as meeting the criteria specified under Article 27(1) UCC IA. This programme will be accepted by Revenue Control Officers as an approved training programme when assessing an applicant for AEO status.
