Programme overview
The use of Letters of Credit has increased significantly by EU exporters and importers because of political insecurity in some markets and the withdrawal of credit insurance cover. Between 60 to 70% of documentary submissions by exporters are rejected on first presentation because of non-compliance with the conditions of the Letter of Credit. The main cause of rejection is a lack of understanding of the underlying principles of documentary Letter of Credit and a failure to construct a workable Letter of Credit. This course addresses these issues directly and is a must for any company involved in the issuing or receiving of Letters of Credit.
The subsidised cost of this programme is €190 from €245.
